christmas-card.jpgIPNews® – Seasonal shopping staple Hallmark has been hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit by a smaller company over use of the name “North Pole City.”

The Oklahoma City based retail store called North Pole City filed a complaint against Hallmark last week, claiming that Hallmark’s forthcoming holiday line infringes on the name that it trademarked with the State of Oklahoma years ago.    For its case, Hallmark, who filed a federal trademark application for the name just this year, has expressed no immediate plans to back down or stop production of the contested product line.   To continue reading, click: Hallmark Smacked with Trademark Lawsuit Just in Time for Holiday Season
