IPNews® – An inventor smacked Ford Motor Co. with a patent infringement lawsuit Wednesday alleging the auto maker’s F-150 pickup truck includes his patented fuel injection system.

TMC Fuel Systems LLC gave Ford multiple opportunities to license the technology, but Ford chose not to do so and is now infringing the patent as a result, the complaint says. Ford’s infringement has been willful and deliberate, entitling TMC to increased infringement damages, according to the complaint.
