IPNews® – On January 13th, 2021, Warner Bros. filed a trademark opposition against Lawrence Merle Nelson for “What’s Up Doc?” a phrase intended to be used for personal coaching services.

The “What’s Up Doc?” phrase has been linked for years to Bugs Bunny’s iconic cartoon character.  The Looney Tunes franchise alleges that its registration will likely cause confusion and therefore harm its trademark.
