Google has defended its use of the technology by claiming “There’s no building at Intellectual Ventures…They are in the business of bringing lawsuits.”  If Google obtains a victory in the case

Hynix also won a favorable court ruling on Friday in California, meanwhile, limiting the royalties it will have to pay to Rambus Inc. for infringing that company’s

The companies split the cost of the patents which were purchased from IPWireless who will still have royalty-free access to the purchased patents.  Nvidia is said to be trailing in the footsteps of Qualcomm which is the smartphone chip processing
