IPNews® - Samsung Electronics Co. has applied to patent a mode of harvesting information from a wireless device like a smartphone about a user's daily life and presenting that information in story form.

A patent application revealed by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office last week would cover a method of collecting and analyzing information like weather, location, social media, calendars, call records and texts. The data could then be summarized by a so-called story generator and presented in full sentences, according to the patent description.
